Every journey has to have a beginning, and this is my first step into the blogosphere. My hope is to share valuable travel tips, interesting ideas and information about great destinations. Anything travel related is fair game.
Do you have a passion for travel? I do! I will happily go almost anywhere just for the sake of exploring something new. But people travel for many different reasons. Some travel by necessity for business; many travel for leisure. Some prefer relaxing and rejuvenating vacations. Others want to spend their vacation on an adventure. Some people want to spend their time pampered, some want excitement, and some want a little of both. What kind of traveller are you?
There are many places to visit in this world and many ways to get there. Sometimes the journey is just as exciting as the destination. Do you prefer to stay in one place during your vacation or want to get to as many towns as you can? There are so many ways to travel now that you can truly see the world in any way you like. From Caribbean cruises, to chauffeured tours of Ireland, to Asian river cruises and African safaris, the opportunities are endless. You can spend the night in castles, hotels made of ice or salt, or even a fake beer can – you just have to choose.
St. Augustine said, “The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”
